Halloween Glam Makeup with NYX cosmetics
This year for Halloween, I created 3 makeups with new products from NYX cosmetics. Since I'm not into gory makeups, I created looks up that are inspired by Halloween but in a glamorous way.
1. Smokey Red
This look is one of my favorites. The creamy vivid brights shadow is very easy to apply and the burgundy tone creates a mysterious and unique result. Unless you have a tendency to get red eyes, this shade is worth the try. You can either wear it with dark lips or a light pink from the NYX lip collections.
TIP: I stayed in the lid area and under the eyes to make my eyes looks smaller. Going higher or outside the lid area can be hard to control so careful and use your fingers, it's easier. You can always clean it up with concealer after!
2. COLD AS ICE
For the occasion, I decided to play it up with a wig and highlight my smokey with an ice cold blue shadow. The trick is to avoid blending colors! At the end I kept it clean with a nice liner (also to hide the lashes) and more pencil shadow in the end.
TIP: Start by putting black on the inner and outer corners. Then add the blue in the middle. Simply make sure you create a smooth transition between the shades. Add more black in the corners once you are done for more drama.
3. BLACK MAGIC
For this look, its all about the lips , a dash of drama in the eyes and lots of highlights . The creamy pencil is normally for the eyes but I decided to use it on my lips. The white pencil was used to brush my real lashes under the fake ones. The white inside the eyes creates so much drama, I love it! Simple and perfect for Halloween. Around the nose, you see some serious contouring to enhance the look. This one is my personal fave!
The full NYX Cosmetics collection is available at a JeanCoutu near you. Have fun with your makeup this weekend for your Halloween parties and share your thoughts once you try on the looks!
